A Quiet Storm
Maïto, a 14-year-old Krump prodigy from the suburbs of Tokyo, balances school pressures with a demanding dance career. Through the raw energy of his movement, he expresses unspoken emotions and the silent sacrifices of his mother in this intimate family portrait.

Au Travers
A poetic portrait of Acadian artist Monique Léger. A transmission of authentic movement as a life force to transcend death.

Ceux qui répondent à l’écho
Ceux qui répondent à l’écho is an experimental digital opera. Set to the texts of poet Gabriel Jobidon, sung by mezzo-soprano Charlotte Gagnon and composed by Laurence Jobidon, the work layers images of Alexis Cousineau’s performances in nature. This video piece is an exploratory essay on the relationship between humans — the body — and the natural world.

UNTIL WE DIE
A poetic back-and-forth in a broken world where each person survives alone amidst collective disarray. Moving bodies, dance, and physical feats take the place of words, revealing wounded characters haunted by a past softer than this crumbling present.
This short film is part of the transdisciplinary project UNTIL WE DIE by Brigitte Poupart, produced by Transthéâtre.
